Kevin Vines - Personal Trainer, Boot Camp Leader, I-Flow Certified, Golf Fit Certified and has obtained his degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.
Kevin brings a new energy to Inner Fit Studios with his work ethic and enjoyment for physical activity.
Kevin has been a Personal Trainer since 2007, with most of his experience taking place at the BodyPrint facility in Calgary, Alberta and recently moving back to his hometown of Richmond, BC this year. His clientele varied from the ages of 16-84 and he was working with the upwards of 40 individuals on a regular basis.
Kevin became certified in Iflow and Golfitt exercise techniques during his tenure at BodyPrint in Calgary. Both certifications provided me him with a better understanding of biomechanics and incorporated great workout routines for golfers and those interested in a new and unique band program focused on functional fitness.
His clientele was composed of individuals with very different goals, fitness experience and physical condition. Thus, his programs varied from a weight loss and/or rehabilitation focus for some to an increase of knowledge of the body and a variety of exercises for others while also taking the elite athletes to the next level, yielding to components specific to their sport.
To add, while completing his bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary he completed two practicums. The first enabled him to work under the influence of Matt Jordan, the Canadian Olympic Speed Skating trainer, whom through in class sessions and hands-on opportunities provided detailed training techniques for the very elite. The second was based out of Bow View Manor, where he learned to program a weekly group training session for geriatrics. Both opportunities were at opposite ends of the spectrum and bestowed the importance of patience, passion and knowledge in any facet of Personal Training.
Boot Camp Instructor: Kevin is now currently taking on new personal training clients and will be running our advanced Boot Camp program on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings from 730pm to 830pm as well as our corporate boot camps on Wednesdays and Fridays at 12pm to 1245pm.
