Several years ago, a Group Fitness instructor and Kinesiology student named Rachel Seay, embarked on a mission to help people of all ages and fitness levels get healthier and lose weight.
“Too often people reach a low point in their life where they have no choice but to start a fitness program for whatever reason and within a few short weeks fail miserably because no one was there to guide them, teach them the exercises or show them how to make it part of their life.”
After working for several years at numerous gyms and community centers, she sought to change the traditional fitness practices and open the doors for those who never thought they could do a heavy weighted squat or spin on a fitness bike. “It is not always easy to be the one who steps outside of the box, but seeing what has been created at Inner Fit Studios has made me realize that a change in the fitness industry is desperately needed.”
That change came in the form of weight loss boot camps for all ages, fitness levels and sizes. Rachel soon realized that traditional boot camps were the new craze but what were the people getting out of it? It seemed to a quick band aid solution to a bigger problem. Telling someone to do 50 squats is very different from teaching someone how to do a squat the right way without knee pain. “Our clients learn life-long skills in fitness and nutrition so they can feel empowered to make a change in their life for many years to come.”
Today, Inner Fit Studios has one of the fastest growing Weight Releas Boot Camp ® programs. They are sold out over and over again and the reason is simple; Inner Fit Studios cares about our client’s success and we know our clients by name. Each week we see people doing things they never thought they could and encouraging them to get there is our goal. We teach our programs for 16 weeks at a time because overnight weight losses aren't real losses. 16 weeks allows the body time to change, get healthier and see significant changes.
How do we measure our success? Our success is not measured by the income earned but by the internal referrals generated. When our clients are bringing their best friends, siblings, parents, spouses or kids to get fit, we know we are doing something right.
